Priestess Chapter 1

The Temple of Heiwa, a very peaceful place. Many young priestess go under training there, but there was one young women who was different from them all. Her name was Batya Boggs. She was a priestess along with the others who live there. She was a kind one who help many with in the town and others that needed her help. But for now lets the story of Batya the Priestess start.

It was a warm afternoon where many of the priestess of the temple of Heiwa were cleaning,doing there daily Meditation,Etc. There was Batya Bogss. Not even knowing her last name she look from the far on top of the Temple looking off to the city, and the land that was far off that she has never encountered before. But then another priestess named Rao walk up to Batya. She was very beautiful, She wears a nun's hood as well as a necklace of beads and a purple dress with a yellow sash. For Batya, we was also beautiful for her age still being young. Batya worn Wearing a Nun hood on her head to hold it on is yellow string. She wears a warrior priestess robes the main is Black and secondariy would be blue, On the back of her robe she has the Japanese marking of Heaven on her back. She also wears Japanese wooden clogs. Rao put a hand on Batya back and spoke softly.

Rao: Batya, you Shouldn't be up here this late. What if something were to happen or we needed you?

Batya: (Blushing) I'm sorry I needed to think Rao...I've just been coming up here most of my life now. To think I've seen the view, the city, The plains, Live seems so lively out there. But being a priestess, I need to take care of the young women who have come here to help us on our mission. Plus if need set we most help any others in need.

Rao: (Wrapping her arms around Batya) All true Batya, you've learn so much when you were here. You've help many with open arms. But one day you'll be able to leave.

Batya: But when Rao...I've been waiting when I was 18 I've wanted to travel out to do more then help around here...

Rao: (Rubbing her back) Soon Batya, you'll know of a much better time when to leave. Now stay calm you shouldn't become this stressed about it.~

Batya: (Becoming calmer) Yes...you're right...~(Turning her head to Rao)

Rao: (Kissing Batya) Mmmmmmmmm.~ Don't worry my dear student. Your time shall come one day. But for now, you should rest, we have along day ahead of us.~

Batya: Mmmmmmm.~ Ok Rao, maybe I've been tired this whole time...

Batya and Rao went down to Batya room. Batya undressed as she went on the back laying down pulling the sheets over. Rao sat down on the bed kissing Batya head.

Rao: Batya, I love you. Anything that seem would happen. I still love you, let nothing change that.

Batya: I well never forget that Rao, you've protect me all these years show me love and passion. I well never stop loving you...but why do you say this?

Rao: Nothing, I just want to let you know Batya. To tell you and show him still. (Moving Batya hair from her head kissing her forehead)

Batya: I love you too Rao...~(Falling back on her bed)

Rao tuck Batya in, Rao walk away turning off the lights in the room. As she turned  some tears went down her cheek, She closed the door Rao turn as she saw the Head Priestess Karu, Rao jump as she was scared to see her.

Rao: Oh!~ Head Priestess Karu, I didn't see you there...

Karu: So you are leaving tonight? I must say Rao. (Taking a puff from her Hickory pipe) You've help us many years and served under me for a long time too. Plus Batya, you still love her so. but why you most leave?

Rao: I have my reasons Karu...But I need to leave this Temple. I hear there is much better live in a city called Toonime. Plus I am going with Amaterasu.

Karu: Aw, the Sun God Amaterasu, Mother who is good to us all. I've was able to chat with her.

Amaterasu: (Standin behind Karu, She weared a white robe which the thread of it was red and the robe slip down to her arms still hiding her large chest a bit. She also had crimson red markings on her body. She also had white long hair with white wolf ears) That I was able to do before we leave.

Rao: Ammy, I see your in your humen form for once.

Amaterasu: I have been, I enjoy this much more then you think you know. (Grinning) Also your student Batya, when she was younger you had me bless her staff and Short sword, yet she doesn't fight much. Why do you ask me to do so?

Rao: I know Batya, she'll follow me. I know she well cross demons along the way when she comes to find me. So she needed a little help from the Sun God herself.

Amaterasu: Hmmm, I see. When I brought the real you back to life. You've been such a kind so to many...

Rao: I know Ammy, but this planing I've done for Batya and what she would do, its has felt like a live time. So shall we head off for "Toonime"?

Amaterasu: Yes, lets go right at once.

Rao: (Leading the way) Alright its going to be a long trip.~

Rao and Ammy left the temple, Karu said good-bye to her old friend Rao once more. Time passed into daytime Batya woke up to the call of the Rooster as she sat on her bed.

Batya: *Yaaaaawn* What a wonderful dream, today is going to be a long day teaching the Young priestess. (Standing up putting on her cloths and putting her short sword on the back of her robe. She grab her Silver Staff which had a cross on top of it, She walk out of her room. She walk to way to Karu office you could say for the Temple. She enter in the room as she spoke) Hello Head Priestess Karu, I am here to take my chore's for today.~

Karu: Aw, Batya your up at last. There is something we must talk about.

Batya: (Worried a bit now) What is it Karu?

Karu looked at Batya, Karu told Batya what Rao had to do and she had to go. Batya eye's filled with tears as she fell to the ground. Karu blew from her Hickory pipe as she walk up to Batya patting her back. Batya got up and spoke.

Batya: So Rao...she left like that...that's is why she talk to me like that last night...

Karu: Yes, but there is something you can do Batya.

Batya: What would that be Karu? (Wiping her face)

Karu: You can go out and find her, ask her yourself. You have my permission to go out and find her and leave this Temple of Heiwa to find Rao for once and be with her. (Blowing a puff into the air)

Batya: (Look at Karu as her eyes light up) You mean it?~ I can leave the temple...

Karu: Yes, I should also tell you one more thing.

Batya: What is that?~

Karu: Your parents did not die, they gave you up to us.

Batya: What?!~ Why didn't you tell me sooner Karu?!~ (Upset, as her voice became stern)

Karu: Your parents wanted to us to tell you that. Plus, it was up to them. From what I was also told they had another child, A son. You Batya are part of that family. Your the older Sister of this son, your a Boggs.

Batya: I...I don't know what to say Karu...

Karu: Go, go find your Brother and go find Rao. Your Brother is from what I hear, the Moon God and the near last of the Boggs. Go on your mission to find them Batya and don't turn back till you find them both!~

Batya: Yes Karu...I shall...and I must say, thank you for taking me in all these years.~

Karu: It was nothing my child, now go on you mission.

Batya: Yes Mother Karu. (Walking out the door)

Batya walk out of the temple looking at it one more time. But then a Young priestess ran up to Batya stoping her holding a large nap sack.

Young Priestess: Priestess Batya! Wait!! There is something I wish to give you!

Batya: Hmmmm? What is it Young Priestess?

Young Priestess: (Handing over a nap sack) This sack holds food, money, and some cloths for hot springs and a small tent for you with a blanket made from the others! (Bowing)

Batya: Oh...~ (Taking it) Thank you...I don't know what to say...

Young Priestess: It was nothing Batya. (Running up the temple stairs) See you Priestess Batya! (Back with in the Temple)

Batya: (Using the string to put the nap sack on her back, she turn around and walk one more leaving the forest which covered the path of the temple. She saw the road which was long and leading to a small village) First, First I shall go there and make my plans true...

Batya started to walk off to the small village, but for the time being. Batya had no idea what waited for her on her travels now. She had to make her mind up on what to do from here on out. But for now, lets have the story set for the time being and let Batya rest for once.
